After configuring your Record Lists and Record Forms with Custom Metadata, the final step is adding them to your Salesforce UI using Lightning App Builder and Experience Builder.     🧭 Step-by-Step: Lightning App Builder

    For Record Pages

    1. Go to Setup > Object Manager and select the object.

    2. Open the Lightning Record Page and click Edit.

    3. Drag in the Record List or Record Form component from the Custom section.

    4. In the properties panel:

      • For Lists: Enter the Developer Name of your Record Page Related List

      • For Forms: Enter the Developer Name of your Record Form

      • recordId is auto-populated by the page

    5. Save and Activate the page.

    For Home Pages

    1. Go to Setup > Lightning App Builder and open your Home Page.

    2. Drag the desired Record List or Record Form component.

    3. Provide:

      • Developer Name for your Home Page Related List or Record Form

      • Record ID if the form refers to a specific record

    4. Save and Activate the page.

    Step-by-Step: Experience Cloud Sites

    1. Open Experience Builder for your community site.

    2. Navigate to the desired page.

    3. Drag in the Record List or Record Form from the Custom Components menu.

    4. Configure:

      • Developer Name of the metadata configuration

      • Record ID, either static or from URL/context

    5. Publish your changes.

    Setting Record IDs in Experience Cloud

    For forms and contextual lists, you’ll need to determine how to pass the record ID:
