NB: Tags in Precursive have been renamed to Skills
 

Skills are used to filter Resources based, which is based on which of these Skills you have assigned to them. Filtering by Skills allows you to further drill down into the capability of each Resource, and makes it easier to assign these Resources to Projects where certain Skills are necessary.

Creating Skills

NB: Tags in Precursive have been renamed to Skills

You can create new Skills to assign to Resources.  To do this, navigate to Precursive HQ, and find Skills under “Resources & Roles”.



This opens a new tab, where you can create new Skills. To do so, hit New, and you can choose the name of your new Skill.

Assigning Skills to Resources

From here, you can assign your new Skill to a Resource. Selecting the drop-down menu under Resources allows you to choose from your current list, but you can also create a new Resource from this menu. 

 

Here’s how to Assign Skills to Resources:

 

1. Click 'View All' under Resources tab
2. Find the Resource you want to assign Skills to
3. Click on the Resource ID
4. When on the resource page, click on 'New' under Skills
5. Find the Skill you want to assign to this resource
6. Hit 'Save' or 'Save and New' to assign more Skill to this resource 

You can also set a Skill Level ranging from 1-5 to act as a measure of competence a Resource has for the chosen Skill.

 

NB: The Skill Level scale is to be used for your own interpretation.
