The HRMS Integration add-on ensures that Leave records in Precursive stay up to date with your HR system, reducing manual updates and minimizing discrepancies. This improves resource planning, ensures accurate availability tracking, and helps teams manage capacity more effectively.

Precursive supports integration with the following HR systems:

Configure HRMS Integration

How to install

The HRMS Integration add-on is a separate Managed Package that must be installed by your Salesforce Admin. Contact support@precursive.com to request access.

Assign Permission Sets

Assign permission set ‘Precursive HRMS Permissions’ (Precursive_HRMS_Permissions) to users who should have access to HiBob integration features and fields.

TIP: We recommend that you add this to a Permission Set Group. It is only required for users who will be managing the integration. End-users do not require this permission.

Prerequisites

To manage services you will require the following:

1. Setup > Apex Settings > Enable "Deploy Metadata from Non-Certified Package Versions via Apex"
2. Profile or Permission Set with "Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions"

Configure the Integration

Each service has specific ways to connect. Follow the relevant steps for each service:

• People First

Enable the Service

Once you have configured the integration for your service it can be enabled. 

1. Navigate to “Precursive HRMS Settings” Tab

2. Choose the “Services” tab and enable the Service

Leave Category Mapping

When Leave is synchronized from your specific service you are able to map the specific Leave Category from the HRMS to a Project and Phase in Precursive. 

1. Create a “Leave” Project with a “Leave” Time Code.

2. Add Phases to your “Leave” Project for the different Leave Categories (e.g. PTO, Sickness, etc.).
   NOTE: You do not need to map them one to one. You may want to use a generic Phase called "Unavailable" if there is sensitivity over the name of the Leave Categories in your HRMS.

3. Navigate to “Precursive HRMS Settings” Tab, then choose the “Leave Category Mapping” tab

4. Add Mapping for each Leave Category in your HRMS mapping them each to a Phase.

Monitor the Status and Manually Sync

With the integration for your service enabled you can monitor from the Status tab. The Status tab allows you to manually sync.
