Create a List View for My Direct Reports’ Tasks

This view will show all tasks assigned to your direct reports, making it easy to monitor and manage them in one place. The Supervisor assigned to a Resource determines which resources are identified as your direct reports. 

NOTE: This step assumes you are familiar with working with List Views in Salesforce .

1. Navigate to the Project Task tab
2. Create a new List View
   1. Name the view something intuitive, such as "My Direct Reports Tasks".
   2. Apply Filters: Use the "My Teams Task" checkbox to filter tasks.
   3. Save

 

How to Manually Rollup Task Data

Task Supervisors, Alias, and Role Names are recalculated every night. If you make changes during the day and need to see them right away, manually run the “Task Rollup Reconciliation” process. This ensures your task data is up-to-date with any recent changes in supervisor assignments or task allocations.

1. Navigate to Precursive HQ, from Quick Find search for Background Processes
2. Select the Background Processes menu item.
3. Find the "Task Rollup Reconciliation" tile.
4. Select "Run Now". 

This will update tasks to ensure they are correctly linked to their supervisors. After running the reconciliation, check your My Direct Reports Tasks List View to confirm all tasks are visible.
