It is important to assess the health score of a project, but it is even more important and actionable to gather the reasons behind these scores.

From Precursive OBX v.19, you can record Board Insights associated with your Board that can help you and your team prioritize your work effectively.

You can track 3 types of Board Insights:

• Outcomes that your customers would like to achieve
• Issues that may delay you in the process
• Risks that you should me aware of and try to avoid

If you record any relevant Board Insight at the start of your project, you can then use and add Board Health Ratings to record your progress against the initial Insights during the course of your project (Tracking Precursive Boards' Health ).

How to Add Board Insights

You can add and view Board Insights from within the Board's Record:

1. Open the record of the Board you would like to add Insights to
2. You will either find the relevant Tab called 'Insights' or the 'Board Insights' section within the 'Related' Tab
3. Here you can visualize all the recorded Insights and add new ones by clicking the 'New' button

This will open a window where you can select the Type of Insight you would like to add.

Each selection will pull a slightly different type of form. The Outcome form includes all the common fields. Issue and Risk have some additional custom ones. All the common and custom fields are listed below.

Common fields

This is the list of fields that are available for each of the Insight types:

• Record Type - Issue/Outcome/Risk
• Board Insight Name - a short name that will help you identify specific Insight
• Precursive Board - automatically filled with the Board of your choice
• Category - type of work affected by the Board Insight
• Date Identified - when the Insight was identified 
• Description - for additional details

Issue - Custom Fields

• Probability - how likely would it happen
• Impact - how big impact it will make on your project in case it will happen
• Impact Rationale - that will make space to describe why Impact can be that big
• Probability and Impact Scores - dependent on the Probability and Impact values picked, Score fields will turn descriptive values into numeric ones so that you will be able to sort them using these values

Risk - Custom Fields

• Risk Score - is a result of multiplied Probability and Impact Scores. This field will help you prioritize which of the Risks should be tackled first.

How to Track Board Insights

You can view a Board's Insights from within the Board's Record and you can use the Precursive reporting to keep track of all the Insights recorded against your Boards.

Please ask your SF Admin or Precursive Super User to Install the OBX Reports & Dashboard pack to have access to your 'My Project's Health and Insights' Dashboard and always be mindful of your Boards' Insights.
