About
The Board Header can be used to quickly get an overview of the Status of your Board and its main details, as well as to access some of the main actions associated with a Board. Apart from the Board's Owner, the Account/Opportunity associated with the Board and the Board Type that has been selected to create it, there are some other fields and actions that are most commonly selected for display on this section. Let's go through the main ones together.
Precursive Board Process Line
The Precursive Board Process Line is similar to an Opportunity process line. It either updates automatically, if so set up by your Salesforce Admin, or it can be updated manually as your project progresses. Please check
Precursive Board Process for more information on this feature.

Status Overview
The
Board Status Overview is a formula field that shows you the Completion Percentage of your Board based on how many of its Tasks you have completed. Next to this percentage and in brackets, it also displays the actual number of Completed Tasks versus the Total number of Tasks on the Board. In the example above the Status Overview is 4% (2/45). This means that only 2 tasks have been completed out of the total 45 Tasks of this Board and its related Boards.
Note - In a Parent Board the Status Overview displays the Completion Percentage and total number of Completed Tasks/Tasks across all the Board that are related to it. Learn more on Board Hierarchies by checking the following article:
Create a Board Hierarchy.
This field is also visible in all the different Board Views (Board, Plan and Table View), but it is displayed in a slightly different way in the Plan View: here the Completion Percentage is displayed on the Timelines of the Board and of each Parent Task.
Sharing Options
From here you can access the
Sharing Options you have available to share your Board with your Customers. This field will only appear if you have first enabled External Sharing. To do that, Edit your Board and set the External Sharing field to '
Public' in the Advanced Options section. Please see
Create and Edit a Precursive Board and
Share a Precursive Board for more information.
Baseline
The
Baseline allows you to take a snapshot of your of the set Start and End Dates of your Board's Tasks. If you set the Baseline when you start your project, once it progresses and you start completing your Tasks or you modify their duration, the system will automatically update and you can check this field on the Board's Header to see if a project is running 'On schedule' or if it 'Scheduled to finish X day(s) late'. Please see
Baseline for more information on this feature.
Add Team Member
This button allows you to add more people to collaborate on the Board. You can also assign a Board Team Members a role - if Tasks have a role assigned to them, the new Team Member will be assigned to those tasks automatically. Please see
Board Team Members for more information.
